Hi everyone:hi:,

I was so glad it stayed clear for monday night although there were some high clouds still around and the wind almost knocked me over:P, It was a little cold but hey were amatuer astronomers we would do anything just to get a view.

Anyways here it is a sequence of the eclipse from start to mid. Also a moon halo was present.

Any tips or suggestions are welcome.Equipment used was a canon 550D with 15-85 lens ,for the sequence at 85 and the widefiled and 15.

hope you like
Thanks
Orestis:thumbsup:

PS- I hope we all get clear skies tommorow for the transit, although it's not looking too good from my place .

Well,

I didn't get to see the transit of venus, it was cloudy all day:sadeyes: :mad2:,

However I did see it live from mauna loa on my laptop which was a descent substitute although nowhere as good as seeing it myself anyways thats life (sighs).

I'd like to say thanks to all the amazing photographs taken by all the amatuer astronomers on iceinspace, it makes me happy to know that so many people are enjoying the the fruits of this fantastic hobby.

I will be eagerly awaiting the surge of total solar eclipse photos in november

thanks
regards Orestis:thumbsup:
