Thanks Stuart. It's important to make a grand entrance  I'm still working on them at the moment. I'm hoping DP will have his processing tutorial soon.

get from the square you have drawn

split into colour panes, and then try different deconvolutions. The blue channel is what i work on first. it tends to be messiest. Label as you go my edit->image title otherwise you will get lost real quick. LR looks quite good, but i will do all three channels and then combine and see which works best

Thanks Dave and Stuart, I had a go of a different image using your guide Dave, (plus a couple of tweeks of my own, :P )

I'm pretty happy. Still not perfect though  (I think this is the one? I've got that many images and versions of images going atm I'm flat out finding my own behind with both hands tied behind my back)

LR 3x1.3 and ME 3x1.3 seemed to make the combine very blue. Not sure hat is going on.

Anyway went ahead with the ME2x1.1 and rgb combined, some unsharp mask.

from here photoshop away for levels etc

New processing on a different image. I see it needs a gentle hand in Astra Image. Personally I thing the planetary limb is too harsh in this shot.

If your are wondering about all the different colour casts to the image is because I was trying different saturation/gamma/fps/exp settings during the night and I haven't tried to balance them out at all yet.

very nice. as usual trial and error. what works for me won't work for you etc, but you will get there i am sure!

nice stuff!!

when you rgb combine this one. put in a y value for blue of say -2.

it is not quite aligned

looking good this stuff

I think I used that value Dave. Might have to go for a -3 next time.
