Some where on this forum or another similar forum were plans for a more accurate DIY Level for an eq6. It was made with a piece of 5mm timber sheet and bullseye level. If anybody knows where they posted / or similar plans I would appreciate the link. I have searched and searched but can't find them again.

Found.
Garins eq6 leveling plate, actually not in any of the forums.
A digital inclinometer is a very handy piece of kit to have on hand Steve. The magnetic based is very useful, and being able to tweak settings to a fraction of a degree is more helpful than you might think.
Some applications:
- checking mount level
- homing RA axis
- Setting altitude (or "stealing" altitude off someone already set up at a site)
- working out where zero is for DEC axis
I use the first one here for about $30. Bunnings used to sell them, but can be a lot of work to find where they're hidden if in stock at all. Easier to get one shipped.
