Apparently ABC Radio National's programs "the Science Show" (http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/scienceshow/), "Hindsight" (http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/hindsight/) and "the Philosopher's Zone" (http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/philosopherszone/) will have specials for the Transit of Venus this weekend on the science, history and philosophical aspects of these transits. All should be interesting listening.
