hi guys,
im just getting used to my new camera at the moment, i collected my new canon 600d over a week ago, but haven't had the time down in melbourne to give it a crack due to the clouded night skies.
i have been recording in 1920x1080 @25f/s, and playing with the settings a bit, originally my recordings felt dark, and had a bit of 'tv streaking' across Saturn, i've managed to brighten it up a bit, but i'm not sure, still feels a bit dull maybe.
feels like i should have got some more surface detail (can almost see some light thin banding to the bottom), but perhaps its due to the moons position reflecting down my scope, or maybe some dew collection - or lack of processing experience.
images from two different videos.
any advice welcomed.
thanks for looking :) now only if the clouds could clear!
12" sky watcher goto, 5x televue and 2x barlow.
registax 6 and cropped afterwards for posting in png.
Cheers
Rusty
