Hi All,
Imaged Saturn last night in variable seeing that produced one reasonable RGB. Have attached said RGB and associated "R" channel image along with animations of all RGB and all "R" channel data.
I have also put together an animation with 1 RGB from each month, Jan to May to demonstrate the changes in apparent diameter, ring tilt and the shift in the shadow being cast by Saturn on the ring ansae, from being on the preceding ansae for Jan, Feb & March to there being no shadow on the rings at all at opposition in April to the shadow swapping over to the following ring ansae in May. Also note the shadow from the rings starting to appear on the Southern hemisphere April, May.
Thanks for looking.
Regards
Trevor
