I would like to announce the birth of our second child, Charlotte, born on Sunday morning at 7.22am, weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 1oz.

Mum and baby are going well. We are home today and it was the first real test to see how jealous Charlotte's two year old brother is. He wasn't too bad and just kept pointing at Charlotte and saying "baby." Let the sleepless nights begin!

Edit: I should have said "let the sleepless nights continue" as there has been plenty of them lately with some imaging sessions till early hours of the morning, followed by having to wake up at 6am to attend my son :P

Well done Dan, 8lb is a healthy baby.
My wife made sure our second one bought our older one a present when he came home from hospital (Thomas, Bob the Builder etc). That way the older one know the younger comes bearing gifts and is friendly.

Yeah we had Riley bring Charlotte a present and Charlotte gave Riley a board with some crayons. It's just Riley has been such a mummy's boy lately so it's just a bit of shock to his system that he's not going to have mummy's complete attention.

Thanks all. One of the hardest things to do is trying to keep a noisy toddler from waking up his sister.

Charlotte must be taking after me as she's a bit of a night owl. Wide awake from midnight until 2. Should have rugged her up and taken her out for an imaging session :rofl:
