It wasn't the best of nights for imaging. While the sky was clear, there was a lot of moisture in the air and the seeing was so bad, some of the stars were almost blinking on and off.

Nice considering the seeing Jeanette ::)
But isn't it annoying how the seeing is soooo poor:mad2:
Considering how beautifully clear the sky has been,
Cheers
Gee you've got it all tracking well Jeanette!
Difficult to pull the contrast out but looking very nice for sure.

Looks like a great scope JJJ. Is that a crop or the field of view?????

It's a crop Mark. I need to work out issues with the right side of the field.

You're a machine, jjj!! I picked up my RC8 mere hours after yours arrived, you've already imaged so many targets, and here I am still still waiting to attach my camera to it. Nope, no feelings of inadequacy at all! ;)

The seeing has been awful here too - the sky looks nice but the results are nowhere near the level of expertise would expect you to produce.
M16 is a spectacular target and the smoothness of your image tells me that if your seeing had been better, your result would have been magazine material
