Day or night, any glimpse of the mountains will beckon me to leave the world behind, set my face toward the wild and drift away.

I really like this photograph Barry. The panoramic aspect ratio works well, and you certainly landed a dramatic stormy sky. The light is wonderful, with that typical high-country intensity to it. Nice :)

Baz, that's not forked lightning in the background is it? Great colours!
The mountains are similarly evocative for me.

Sure is Chris! I went out chasing it that night, but it just kept moving away. You should see the large print. :eyepop:

Great image Baz.

Is that the tail light trick with the tree? It looks like you captured the right amount of red light, nice and subtle.

great image. I like how the barren tree branches in the foreground liken the lightning in the distance:thumbsup:

Thats a great photo Baz ... That type of subject being of my particular liking has influenced my judgement for sure but equally so your professionalism ... You have truelly evolved in the photo game ... Ive seen it happen ... You must be really stoked when you produce this sort of stuff ... I am envious to say the least.

That's a great shot Baz. The storm, the last rays of dusk, the lovely tree and the great colours. Fantastic.
