Now I know that at least 2 IIS'ers will be at NACAA (National Australian Conference of Amateur Astronomers) over the Easter weekend in Frankston Vic.
I will be one of them  & I must say I'm looking forward to it.
I have a "Poster Paper" (powerpoint presentation) titled :
40,000 years of Astronomical History in NE Arnhemland, which will be shown.
I am looking forward to this great networking opportunity with clubs from all over Oz.
So who else is attending from IIS,for the whole event or in part

Ian, I had planned to go this year but the trip to Perth and back took more cash than I thought.
I hope your paper is well received, enjoy. Regards Ron:thumbsup:

I was planning to put something together for IIS, but never got around to it :( Have a great time there Ian, take some IIS stickers along if you still have some. I'll send some replacements up to you.

Thanks for the reminder Mike, I have them with me too
There have been some very interesting presentations from some very talented people thus far.
I am humbled by the knowledge of these folks & the contribution that they make to professional Astronomy in Australia
I will be back there again today & will have the oportunity to present my paper.
Mike, I will be happy to act as your Advocate at the Conferance & will be shamlessly handing out IIS stickers today & tomorrow :P
I have already met up with Wombat_in_space (Darren) down here & hope to catch up with a few more IIS folks.
There is a BBQ tonight up at the "Briars" site tonight & if the :rain: ever stops for long enough, we will get some observing as well !
