Sol in transit dry run 18/05/2012

Anne-Louise and I are trying to shoot the transit at our kids school, and last Friday we had a trial run.

Imaged with a Modded 450D, ISO 800, 500th sec, C9.25, 70mm aperture Baader solar film, density 5. Sharpened in PS CS5, Topaz Detail plug-in, coloured with Photo Filter in Image>Adjustments.

Seems to be some dust and the like, so I will have to remember to take some flats on the day.
