Dear all, below is the link to an image of another gem of the southern sky, NGC 3575 in Carina.

Statue of Liberty (http://www.glitteringlights.com/Images/deepsky/13667287_7Mtr58#!i=1821121746&k=F7ZGnrh&lb=1&s=X3)

It is a beautiful object located in a very rich star field that makes difficult the nebulosity to stand out, this is why often the best views are those in narrowband. This is my attempt, a HaOIIIRGB composition of about 14 hours of total exposure. I recommend the vision in full res. Other details on the page.

Lovely and colourful. Really great capture. I got some quick images of this a year ago and have been meaning to get back to it. You're inspiring me. :)

Gorgeous capture. Lovely starfields, so clear and colourful and the nebula nicely framed with some additional nebula in the top right.

Wonderful.

Nicely done Marco - a great wide field shot. I've never seen The statue of liberty name before.

Nice work Marcus, the full size view is lovely to wander through. Great colour and saturation and a little different from the view I presented earlier in the year. It is an interesting nebula and certainly not family with the name you have presented but the I can see why it might have that name.

Wonderful view and amazing colours. The full res version is fantastic - very crisp and the central area looks so 3D, just spectacular! Thanks for the view Marco, it's very inspiring.

Great field that  and very nicely processed too

In RGB the two nebulae are actually very different shades of red but since it is in narrowband I'll forgive you ;)

Another lovely image Marco

Thanks Troy, glad to know that ;)

Grazie Mario!

Thanks Justin

Hi Greg, you always very nice in your comments, thanks mate!

Thanks Steve, actually the name looks quite appropriate to me, the resemble of the statue is quite striking :) I found it used a couple times, not sure if it is the "official" nickname but I like it..

Thanks Rick :)

Thanks Lucas, appreciate it

Thanks Paul, your image was fantastic too and contributed to my "to do" list on this target

Thanks Dave !

Thanks Rolf, lots it's due to the Coona skies, the lack of light pollution down there helps a lot to have high contrast in particular on colors!

By any other name would smell as sweet" :D
Thanks Peter for the appreciation :)

Hi Martin, :thanx:

:D Thanks mate for your understanding, coming to color it's always difficult to find the right mix
