Posting this here because not everyone reads the announcements forum or checks their email or likes the IIS facebook page ;)

IceInSpace is teaming up with Astrovisuals to produce the IceInSpace Astronomy Calendar for 2013.

The images in the calendar will be made up of YOUR images, and voted for by the IceInSpace community.

Image submission is open until the end of May, so you've only got 8 days left to choose 5 of your favourite images and upload them in any of the categories.

There's no rules about "previously published images" or that they have to be taken within a certain date.

I've also confirmed with John Sarkissian that submitting entries for this competition does not invalid any of your entries in the David Malin Awards; the voting for the calendar images is anonymous and the winners won't be announced until after the DM Awards.

So get cracking.

There's a few categories (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showpost.php?p=854651&postcount=45) we're short on images for, but feel free to submit against any category.
