Hi guys,
Just returned from a great couple days away at the ASV dark Sky site - it was great, albeit being a little chilly down to -1.5c [not use to that].
Captured numerous objects, the first processed being M8. Done with HaRGB I used the colour channels from the FSQ+QHY9 [from a wide field of the area, RGB 5min subs x4 each channel, Bin 2x2], and the Ha from the CDK+STL-11000 [160mins, with 20min subs, Bin 1x1].
So, here is the full frame at 57% size [about 2mb]:
M8 (http://www.mpas.asn.au/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1972&g2_serialNumber=3)
I had troubles matching the colour channel’s star sizes to the Ha [tried PS minimum filter with some luck], so they are showing some dark rings which are not from any deconvolution, just the stars from the colour layer being larger than the Ha stars [which is normal I suppose].
:thanx: for looking,
Steve
