Hi all,
Here's a 2012 version of "Two crescents in the west" (the last version I did from 2009 is here (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=41744&highlight=crescents+west)). I captured Venus through my 130mm Newtonian at about 4:40 this afternoon (using the hand-held afocal method), and then headed down to the local park and found a 31hr old slender crescent Moon just as it was setting. here's a compilation of the two!
Thanks for looking!
Cheers,
Stephen

squint hard you can just make it out;)
