my first real image in a long long time - M83

i didnt get much time on this on friday night but it was enough to play with. i havent processed a real DS object for a long long time. its not good and i am certainly rusty but i am happy to have done it.:D taken with the 127ED and the cooled canon40D with a clip in CLS ccd filter. about 2hours worth iso800

Well its a nice change to get some sky, all my tripods got toasted in the kombi bonfire along with the cables etc so all i can do is look at the sky and wave my arms around a bit, holding up the scopes pirate style.............just dosn,t work:sadeyes:. Very nice effort on your part after such a long break. Any longer and the technology would have been outdated you,d need new gear and have to learn from scratch:lol:

neighbour = no = all night but i waited until m83 transited so the dome shielded the scope
