Hello everyone
I have been really excited about this image given that the data has been acquired under some excellent seeing at my remote observatory in California.

This is a 28 hour data set consisting of HaLRGB (8:8:4:4:4 hours). The data was acquired by both myself and my SRO partner, Bill Snyder, but was processed by me.

I am personally delighted with the result.

This must be one of the best M51 images ever and if anyone had any doubt over what a CDK17 can do this should surely put their minds at rest.

Cheers

Good evening and many thanks for the comments.

I have to say that I have been very excited about this image, and Steve, I reckon you are right - this really shows what a CDK can do, in addition to the spectacular quality luminance data that was acquired from Sierra Remote.
Thanks again
