Hi all,

inspired by Terry's image of this comet yesterday. This is 20x3 minute exposures with Tak. Astrograph. Also in the FOV are the two globular clusters M4 and NGC 6144. The streaks to the right are reflections, and by the colour I'd say from Antares outside the FOV.

Thanks JJ and Troy. It will be interesting to see how this one progresses in brightness as it approaches. Hope it isn't a fizzer.

So long as it stays bright enough to image eh. :)

I like a comet with a tail. To observe Panstarrs and see it brighten to magnitude 1 would be good.

It would be nice to get up close to this one. It has a wee little tail. I might swing the 10" over to it tonight and see what it looks like with the 4x powermate.

Good idea JJ, will be keen to hear your report. At mag. 14 it will not be bright.
