Out on the job today, another opportunity presented itself in the form of this magnificent Australian Python.
It was a bit tricky holding it with my left hand while trying to support a Gripped 5DII and lens with the other, but I got a couple of shots I'm happy with.

What a fine looking fellow he is too. :)
Blimey, the poor little beggar must have been frozen this morning.

Nice shots of creatures I'd never seen before! Thanks!
I personally would prefer more depth of field (smaller aperture, longer exposure). Like e.g. f/6 at 1/200 s instead of f/2.8 at 1/1000 s. But don't take any notice of me if you don't want to. ;)
Keep up the good work.

I'm keen to know how you found out the image details. I've tried this before. I have been right clicking, checking info and properties from the IIS uploaded image, but can't seem to find that info. How do you do it?
Baz.

Baz,
How I found then was by right clicking then saving the first pic to my computer. I then opened IMG_3490.jpg in IrfanView and looked at the EXIF Info. Here is a copy and paste of the EXIF Info in quotes.
BTW Nice looking Diamond Python.

If you're using Firefox, the Exif Viewer add-on will display Exif data for an image with a right click.
Beautiful snake Baz and top shot, one handed I might add.

Like Henry said it's from EXIF info. I use Linux and it's easy to access that data by right clicking etc. If your OS is not so co-operative, just open the image with photoshop / imagemagick / gimp and explore from there.
