hi iceinspacers,

Just thought people might be interested in this picture - a panorama of the largest of the dozen or so craters at Henbury, NT.

Henbury's an amazing place near Alice Springs where a large meteorite hit about 4700 years ago. It split up just before impact, making a closely grouped cluster of craters.

Well worth a visit!

Aint it amazing what you find when your wandering the Aussie outback. Thanks for the pic robagar.

:confuse3: I'm surprised the dirtbikers haven't found it yet. Looks like a place they'd enjoy. Sorta like a giant skate bowl.

:scared: just an observation. I'm not suggesting it!!!
