Good Neighbours

We are going O/S for three weeks on Sunday and we are getting embarrassed by the number of neighbours who are volunteering to mow the lawns, water the garden, collect the mail etc.

It is difficult to say that someone has already offered.

Don't we all have good neighbours? I would move if I didn't!

I had problems with a street light and through my local member of parliament I had this street light shaded and as a part of this process I had to get the neighbours permission. All gave permission. Since then they have cooperated even further by leaving their outside lights off, when they know I am observing.

Also, when I had a stroke last year, after getting home from the hospital, and because as I live alone, my neighbours brought me meals for the first week back at home.

So, I am lucky as I have good neighbours. :)
