A few days and a fresh pair of eyes can make all the difference.

I've fixed the colour on my Turimetta Beach 'Beam of Light' pics that I posted last week. They had too much cyan, too much saturation in parts.

I'm much happier with these.

All are single shots with a Canon 5D Mark II and 24-105mm lens. I used a Lee .9 GND filter too.

They had to be reduced in size quite a bit for the 200kb limit, so check out the large ones.

Much better Mike but who am I to judge, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"!

Mike,

If they were my shots I'd be very happy with them. Lots of nice colour and lighting.

I would still think critically about what could be improved ... They are all very "busy" with lots of detail everywhere. I'd be aiming for composure or DOF to give the eye some direction. :)

PS. I don't remember seeing the originals so just thinking about these :)

Thanks for your comments.

Roger I'm not sure about cropping etc, I could try some different ones. Some of these are already cropped to try and provide some focus. Ultimately the beam of light is the main subject and the rest is setting the scene.
