this is a 30sec exposure of the keyhole i got the other nite. i got 15 exposures tracking with my cubepro, im surprised how well it tracks. the telescope is a celestron 127ap with 1000mm f/length. refractor with 1.25 inch focuser. i cant get a coma corrector to fit it, grrr. i tried to stack in dss but the result was worse than the origionals even after playing around post processing in corel pro. if anyone can sugest a way to decoma on a 1.25 in focuser id love to know about it. guess ill have to get a little mak cause the cubepro only carries 11 pound.

no its clear across the whole field, its set up prime focus with a threaded t ring screwed onto the thread on the 1.25in eyepiece holder.
i got one of the tring sets of ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-25-T-mount-m42-0-75-Adjustable-tube-Canon-Tring-/130652549984?pt=UK_Telescope_Adapte rs&hash=item1e6b7fb360.
ive tried it with the eyepiece holder and using the 1.25"insert attached and they all come out the same. i recon it must just be cause it is a refractor. the focuser also has a lense in it, end closer to the secondary mirror. my 12"dob doesnt have one. when i try to collimate with a laser collimator i get a big blob with rings in it back at the collimator not a nice dot like with the dob.

i just put my 32mm in and the edges of it are also streaked???
does that mean the mirrors are not set at the rite focal lenghts.
size wise it looks about the same with prime focus as with the 32mm eyepiecee

ive done some research on some of the uk forums, looks like ive got a sherical mirror not a parabolic one. Jones Bird Newtonian or something like that.
