If you have been enjoying the long run of fine Sydney weather this month, apparently
it has been the driest start to May since 1882, with not a drop of rain having been
officially recorded.

Last night was, not surprisingly, the coldest of the year.

Story here in Sydney Morning Herald -

Meantime, the Bureau of Meteorology reports that climate indicators across the tropical
Pacific Ocean remain neutral (neither El Niņo nor La Niņa), as is the Indian Ocean

Though there were scattered showers across Sydney on Sunday, they missed the
city, thus allowing the record of 1882 to be broken.

As reported today in the Sydney Morning Herald, it is the driest May in Sydney
since records began in 1859.

So incredibly lucky. A bit of consolation for that puke-a-thon that was the Sydney summer this year.

Here in Hell this month, every 2 out of 3 days has recorded rain  One clear night last night, now another indefinate period of wintry cloudy icy tripe to enjoy.
