Still trying to sort out my processing, but here it is.
There was a lot of cloud in front of the sun (and nowehere else in the sky... Grrr....) but some detail was still apparent.
I cut off the bottom of the flares with some poor framing too!
All with PST and DMK21 on an EQ6Pro, and lots of cloud.

Not bad Peter! Good exposure on the proms as well as the surface detail.

I am not into Solar imaging Peter but this looks good to me. I recall having a look through a PST a few years ago at a SPSP and was very impressed with it.
Well done.

It's getting there Peter. Watch your focus though. It is slightly out and with solar imaging focus can be a pain to get right each time.

Thanks for the feedback I had a lot of trouble focusing, the cloud haze probably wasn't helping either. I'm replacing the horribly sloppy prism mechanism in the PST when I get a chance. It is fine for visual but really tricky at the magnification the DMK21 forces upon you.
Any hints on achieving sharp focus?
