Wanted: 60-72mm refractor

Hi,

I'll be working on the day of the transit so I'm looking for a small lightweight refractor that will comfortably sit on my photo tripod and can be easily carried around in the CBD. I already own a Stellarvue 80ED but it's too heavy.

Something like a William Optics 66mm would be ideal but will consider anything in the 60-72mm range.

May not keep the scope after the transit so not looking to spend lots of money. Scope has to be of shortish focal ratio for convenience of transport (e.g. around f/6). May consider an achromat as long as it is sharp.

I have a small ED80 doublet you could borrow, I'll measure and weigh it if you like. It has a hardcase and is easy to carry.

Have you thought about just using a camera lens and an adapter?

Only have a 24mm lens just now. That wouldn't show much!
