Hi all, although this comet is fading now after putting on a good display for the northern hemisphere, it is the brightest comet in our southern skies. This is 13x3 minute exposures taken with Tak. astrograph and Astro 40D.

Beautiful Image Lester ... first one here of this Comet for a long time. Hope Gordon sees it.
Have had a couple of looks at it now, as been visible up here for quite awhile. Faint fuzzy blob - gotta love them!!
Happy birthday .... again. :D

Thanks Liz for your comments. I tried to see the comet with 7x50s last night, but couldn't pick it out. All the best.

Great record of this comet Lester. I would like to see it calibrated with flats and darks though. Is it going to get brighter or larger than this?
