Hi all,

All of the following is free, pick up from Thornbury, VIC (Melbourne).

* Celestron Universal EP projection digital camera adapter. This was donated to me by a kind IIS member for basic public astrophotography use, but my 8" Dob got nicked and the Intes Mak I use now for public events is not suited to it. So please take it if you are going to use it! ;) PICK UP PENDING

* Sky Atlas 2000.0 Field edition (white stars on black background). Better than what you'd buy in the shop!! These were kindly laminated for me (waterproof!) by fellow IIS-er Chris (Thunderchild)! This is a very detailed set of charts, tonnes of DSOs, galaxies... Unfortunately I very rarely get to use it these days, so hope it goes to someone who will. GONE

* Aluminium case. Pack it with foam and protect your EPs etc. (I have two, this one never gets used.) GONE

* 9x50 Saxon/Synta straight-through finder with mounting hardware. GONE

* Large 120mm high-flow fan and baffle to suit 12" Dob. I made this for my 12" GSO Dob ~5 years ago. This provides a LOT more airflow where it's needed than the stock GSO fan. Not sure if the current models still have the same collimation screw setup, so you may have to redrill. You'll need to fit and wire it yourself. WYSIWYG. PICK UP PENDING

* Another fan and baffle setup for 12" Dobs. (Again, made for GSO etc.) This is a 3-fan setup, with only one fan included. You'll need to get two more the same size (80mm I think) to make the most of it. I found that having three fans creates more vibrations as they are always running at slightly different speeds so they exhibit beat resonance. So you'd need to wire it up so you can turn all and/or all but one off for observing. PICK UP PENDING

* Home-made plywood tube rings for Saxon/Synta/Skywatcher etc ED80 (or other scopes with same tube size). Not the sexiest looking tube rings but they do the job well. Sturdy, felt lined on the inside. I made it for the generic EQ mount I had at the time. Whether it will suit yours I don't know. (see next post for photo of the dovetail bit) GONE

FREE pickup from Thornbury. I'd prefer not to post these - apologies to non-Melbourne folk.

Very kind offer.

If I pay for postage, is there any chance the sky atlas could be sent to QLD for my Son's School's Science Club?

Regards,
Stu.

Like I said, I'd prefer not to have to post anything. I'll give it a week or so and if there are no local takers, I'll consider posting at receiver's expense.
Cheers.

Huuu

If the "Large 120mm high-flow fan and baffle to suit 12" Dob" is still available and you can ship it (on me of course) Toowoomba 4350 QLD, that would come very handy, as that on my 12" is broken.

Thanks mate
Giorgio
