Not overly impressed with these ones. Look better as a thumbnails! :P
The first one is just 'normal processing' second one has noise reduction & slight sharpening in Neatimage. The one without looks better to me, what do you think guys?

I'm doing fine John, thanks mate :)
that 9.25 does indeed rock - its working out beautifully
strange to think that C9.25 is related to my mates old C8, that is an absolute joke *visually* on planets, when compared to my newts :confuse3: but then thats the beauty of tracking and stacking I guess
how does it stand up visually to your newt mate? (i know visual is out of fashion along with log cabins, or so i read?)

Asi, slow down...we're choking on your dust :P
Amazing picks, I've never seen so much detail in the polar regions... very peculiar, and impressive

In truth Kearn, I just don't do the visual thing now. Since having it, I've only looked at Saturn at some ridiculous magnification (600X) just to check the collimation. Did a respectable job @ that mag.
The Parks newt blows it out of the water for crispness of detail on Saturn at least. Must do some deep sky & compare the results hey.
No! One of my mates is building log cabins.. ..their still the bee's-knee's!
Robert, peculiar you say? I thought it was the norm. I used to get a lot of polar detail with the refractor as well...:confuse3:...thinking, thinking.....
