What's the cheapest way to connect a MAC to an external monitor (BENQ 19") and where to get it from? Intel Macbook Pro 13" 2.4GHz - 2010 model running Lion. TIA.

I got my adapters from JB Hi-Fi, Marc.
About $15-$30 from memory.

And the input to the external monitor is . . . ?
SVGA, VGA, HDMI, DVI etc
try Googling "mini displayport to svga adapter"
Lindy has a selection from $15 to $40 depending on brand or configuration

The genuine apple adapter is reasonably priced.
eBay has all the made in Chinese options for under $10 delivered
