Hi all,
I was up early this morning, and captured the perigee Full Moon setting over some gum trees. This is another stack of images taken at 3 minute intervals. Not exactly the foreground that I was aiming for, but I thought it was still worth posting.
Cheers,
Stephen

Nice work...but I thought the "Super Moon Event" [14% Bigger, 30% Brighter and all the Moonly goodness] is when it rises tonight.

Thanks very much Dave!

Thanks Hans. I think the actual full Moon (and perigee) occured at about lunchtime for us on the east coast of Australia - so Moon set this morning was a few hrs before full Moon, and Moon rise tonight was a few hrs after full Moon. Therefore I think both events qualify as the "Super" Moon?
Cheers,
Stephen

Thanks very much Liz, Mick, jjj and Paula!
It was beautiful and calm when I was capturing this, but also the coldest morning of the year for Brisbane (8.5 degrees according to the car thermometer).
Cheers,
Stephen
