For Mars, seeing was terrible & I honestly don't remember seeing any nice moments on the live-feed. Another testament to this great camera & the power of Autostakkert I reckon..
Seeing was infinitely better, ranging from ok - good for Saturn. A Saturn & moon composite coming soon.

John,
Mars rapidly diminishing now -- thanks for the late look, whatever the conditions.
The Saturn, however, requires no qualifications; those are just great images.

Hi Ivan & thanks for that. Making another run shortly tonight (5th) if the clouds stay away. I'm hoping for at least one more night of excellent seeing on Mars but if not, I'll take what I can get.

Impressive results Asi especially with Saturn, well done.
Have been away with my wife & son playing in a lawn bowls carnival down at Mildura so I am way behind with my email and on the forums.

Great work. I was out observing Mars and Saturn on the same night in Brisbane. Mars was a complete mess, but I did catch rare glimpses of good seeing on Saturn... which I see you've captured quite well!

Thanks guys.
Yes Dave, the seeing has been as you describe - Really nasty early in the evening but generally gets better the later you leave it. Even though Saturn came out reasonable, there was a lot of poor seeing in the mix, so it was simply a matter of getting quite a few sets of data & picking the ones with more good moments in the 5.5 min Vids.
