It took me a while to get it out of the barn  ... I was always unhappy with the performance. I thought the subject was more simple to make.

In any case, this is what I managed to do by adding several nights of shooting:

Thanks for looking.

All the best,

Some solid imaging time there Leo and the result is just about as good as it gets in the amateur world

Haha, it seems you had troubles taming that thoroughbred, however the result is excellent! Great shot as usual, thanks for posting :)

That's a beauty Leo.

Only thing that takes my attention is the borders between the brown dust and the blacker background shows the brown has been pushed a bit too hard and is breaking down.

Otherwise way good for a 10 inch scope. If I didn't know what instrument was used I would have guessed a far larger scope.

Nice work, it looks similar to my rendition (http://paulhaese.net/HorseheadLRGB.html)several years ago with the 8"RC. Although I think your control over the brighter stars is better than mine. I really like your treatment of the rear curtain, this is quite prominent.

I think you could increase the surface brightness of the horse itself though. Just to show a bit more of the detail throughout the head.

Sublime image, both composition colours and processing are all great. It looks like the Hubble version, a very impressive result. I hope to try this one next season with my new gear.
Thanks for the inspiring view!
