Brian - it must be a pseudo - Obsession. There has never been a 16" model of Obsession .

Seems to be an obsession clone. I think with GSO optics.

Well looks can sometimes be deceiving.
It isn't an Obsession because they don't make a 16". It is an Obsession clone and it says that in the advert. Question is, whose mirror is it, how well is the scope made? It looks like a GSO focuser and a Destiny secondary holder. I will say the scope does look reasonably well made but you would need to take a much closer look at it. Let's assume it is a GSO mirror, they certainly make a 16"/F4.5 mirror which you can source very cheaply. There is a downside. I have used a couple of scopes with 16"/F4.5 GSO mirrors (Meade Lightbridges) and they have left something to be desired. The smaller GSO mirrors up to 12" seem to be generally very good, however, the two 16" GSO scopes I have used, haven't been great at all optically. Maybe that was just bad luck with a small sample of 2 mirrors, but my guess is that GSO's production/testing techniques might struggle somewhat with larger faster mirrors. If the mirror is good you are getting great value. If the mirror is bad you are buying $3,500 worth of trouble.
I would certainly want to test the scope before putting down that sort of money on a 2nd hand item without warranty.
Cheers,
