I offer this original, purple, hardcover, 1968 edition, of "Astronomical Objects for Southern Telescopes", by E.J. Hartung.

Price: FREE!!! (but only to a good home.......)

I wish to donate this volume to a person who is at
the beginner-to-intermediate level in amateur astronomy, and who needs a good observational guide as to what can be seen with various apertures.

I have the 80's reprint which, like the donated one, does not have Malin's pretty pictures, but it is still an excellent book in all other respects.

The newer version gets lots of use :D
