Vixen LVW 22mm eyepiece (1.25 inch)
A well-corrected 65degree field design, which is made in Japan. A good & sharp wide-field eyepiece at a modest price.
Very good condition. $100

32mm Super Plossl Eyepiece (2inch O.D.)
An improved plossl design with full multicoatings. Made by GSO, in Taiwan. This is a physically large eyepiece, the coatings look very good, and the eye-lens and the field-lens are very large; but I don't know what the apparent field is.
In Mint Condition. $25

30mm Kellner Eyepiece (1.25 inch ).
A standard, Japanese-made Kellner with good optics . Correction is definitely good when used with refractors and catadioptrics. A good & useful eyepiece, but not a fancy one.
Very Good Condition. $15

9mm Plossl eyepiece (1.25inch)
Made in Taiwan, by GSO. Multicoated. These GSO Plossls are generally regarded as a good
general-purpose eyepiece; reviews have been favourable. This eyepiece is identical to the Bintel 9mm Plossl.
(Also, the GSO 9mm "Super Plossl" looks to be exactly the same as this GSO 9mm Plossl, so the "Super Plossl" name might well be a sales tactic, in this case.)
Very Good Condition. $15

2inch adapter for C8, with 2 inch to 1.25 inch adapter
The two inch adapter screws into the back of a C8, and allows the use of a standard 2inch diagonal. The 2inch to 1.25 inch adapter will fit into any 2inch tubing, to allow use of 1.25inch eyepieces.
In Fair working order (some scuff marks). $10

12mm Modified Achromatic Eyepiece, by Meade (1.25inch)
I would probably take the lenses out of it, and use it for applications where I need to keep the eye on axis, as the eye lens is small!!
Price: FREE!!

Robert

No second thoughts whatsoever - happy to have it as I have never had a LVW before and would like to try one out for myself.

As Suzy said, its a great price for a small hand grenade.
See this thread (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=89646).

Hi, all,

I shall respond regarding the LVW, tomorrow, when I have time.

Traveller (Bo) wants the other four eyepieces for his son;
so he can have them, if the sale goes through as anticipated.

best regards,
Robert

Profiler, you'll LOVE it!

Though I find it more comfy to fold down the rubber eye cup- I have deepish eyesockets and as the eyecup is a bit stiff they tend to cut into me. Folding it makes it nice and comfy- well for me anyway. Try it if it gives you grief. I can also see more fov out of it when I do.
You won't be disappointed with the views- beautiful crisp pin point stars.

Unless something serious has happened in the market lately (LVWs have always held their value well), the second hand price on them is $230-$250. You've done exceptionally well.
