At last I managed to have enough time to process my “first” image took with the VISAC and its focal reducer. It is also my very first time in putting a new effort in learning a new processing workflow, thanks to the wealth of features of Pixinsight, but also because I was not used to process a galaxy especially at this focal length, so learning how to deconvolve was a must. I am definetely very pleased with the result.

I too feel your pain with learning PixInsight. I think it will be worth the effort.
Image looks great, Ha regions showing nicely. Well done.

Very nice result Nicola. The high-res is very nice. PI is worth your learning. I'm dabbling in it now and starting to like it too.

...and you should! Very nice image Nicola, the Ha blending looks great and add a lot to the image. Welcome to the other side of processing (PI) ;)

Nice image Nicola maybe now this is only my opinion a tad overstretched and colour saturated

Excellent result from a 200mm scope Nicola. So colourful and so much detail. I was love the M7 photo on your site too.

Thanks a lot for your kind comments!
@Rigel003: thanks, I'm glad you like the M7 image! :)
@TrevorW: this is also someone else' opinion, I'll see if I can be happy with less color :)
@Marco: grazie! I'm glad you like it ;) VISAC is a very good scope once you tame it :)
