I have put up a few images that I have done over the last couple of weeks. All images are around 500kb for those concerned about usage limits.

Special thanks to Paul Haese and Troypiggo.

Appreciate your thoughts and feedback as always.

M46 I have managed to capture two planetary nebulas in this image.

I really like the PN, tiny and well coloured in the vastness of space and it reminds me that this is what our solar system may look like one day from a distance.

The Thors helmet image is nice but lacks depth which could come from the addition of Ha.

Eta Carina is really well detailed and shows what can be done without the addition of narrow band data. When I read that you had not used any Ha I was surprised. I like the red and the orange star colours but the blue is still not quite there. It looks a little cyan still. A quality image all the same but always looking to see perfection.

Yes, Thor's Helmet is a bit flat, I did not get any time to collect any more data, so I ran with what I had.

Well done, Gray. You have been busy and nice to see so much despite the weather and the moon. Were these done from a dark sky site?

They're all great. The second tiny planetary is visible in the M46 shot on the far left just above the 9 o'clock position. Nice sharp and well coloured stars with a good level of sky background. I wouldn't have thought to try for Thor's Helmet with this scope but it's come out well. Did you use minimum filter on the stars in the eta photo?

No, just done from my suburban backyard. Thor's Helemt would come out much better with more data and possibly some Ha to blend in as well, which would pick up some more of the the faint backgroung nebulosity associated with the object.:thumbsup:

Ummm......yes...I did use a minimum filter on Eta. :rolleyes:

This is a great selection of images Gray, I can see why M41 is your favourite too, very space like but M46 is just as good, Eta is a good'un too :thumbsup:

All nice images Graham, in particular I agree on M41, an object usually difficult to render properly (tends to be flat) that in your shot looks just lovely with lots of proper colored stars :)

A great collection of images. Super tight stars, great guiding, lovely star colours, clean background - a lot to like.

M41 is my favourite there as well. You sure got a lot of detail in Eta C if you took no Ha.

Your setup is working well and your processing is very good too.

Hello Marco! Thank you for your generous comments! Yes, very happy with the M41. I just love it, and visually, too. It was the one I most wanted to get right.

I even went back through my images and double checked that I didn't add any Ha, and I was right. I remember, as I could not get it to blend well and there was so much detail in Lum and Red it actually added very little detail. The Ha I was going to add is here.
