Moonlie focuser for Televue Genesis ?

I have a TV Genesis (original f/5 version) and want to replace the focuser. I got an advice to use the Moonlite 1:8 focuser for $385.
The existing focuser is too coarse for focusing for prime focus AP and high power (180x) visual use.
My requirements:
- manual operation (i.e. no power required)
- not too heavy (this is a travel scope)
- should be able to carry a 1kg Canon EOS-7

Is this a good option or are there cheaper / other options ?

:) Hi Skysurfer , what you are looking at looks mighty fine to me for the price , I personally think you wont do any better for that price , :question:, This is comming from a Feathertouch owner ;) .

The focuser in the link is for a SCT not a refractor. You will need a CF or CFL focuser from ML or maybe a feathertouch or even one from Baader.

You may be best to purchase a ML direct (http://www.focuser.com/storefront.shtml). This page (http://www.focuser.com/cgi-bin/dman.cgi?page=productdetail&plugin=dstore.cgi&product=CF) suggests the ML CF has a flange to fit the Genesis, see 1/2 way down page. A CF focuser (with flange) is around $275 USD which is around $208 Euro (no delivery costs).

ML focusers are quite heavy!
