Hi,

I'm completely new to this, and trying to work out what to buy to connect my Celestron 6SE to an Olympus E-520 DSLR.

I've found some items on ebay which are advertised as a 'T2 T mount' adaptor for my 4/3 camera body. Is a 'T2 T mount' the same as a 'T-ring'? Or is it backwards/inside-out/upside-down or something like that?

e.g. is this what I need? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/T2-T-Mount-Mirror-Telephoto-Lens-Olympus-OM-4-3-DSLR-SLR-Camera-Ring-Adapter-/320845291594?pt=AU_Lenses&hash=item4ab3dea04a#ht_1749wt_960

I had a look at the Wikipedia article about T-rings, but it just confused me even more. :-)

Any help appreciated.
Matt.

Matt I used to have a e510, now an e-pm1. The t ring to me looks like its an OM to t2 mount, you need 4/3 to t2, but the Ad is confusing, I'd send a question querying his use of both 4/3 & OM(the old film mount)

Btw I have an OM mount to t-ring & an OM to 4/3 & mu43 adapter.

It's $5 ffs haha. Just buy it and try if it doesn't work it could make a great neck lace or bottle opener :)
though the ad does say
