It's not looking good for me, I'm afraid. Haven't finished rebuilding the dob base, and as I'm working in Shepparton Tuesday and Wednesday, I won't have much time to spare before Friday....may have to make the May meeting my target :(

Forecast for tomorrow night is still warm with a Clearing shower, whatever that means.

Time will tell I guess. Last night was looking terrible but ended up fantastic until about 2:30 am.

Would really love to try and get there to test out my new 7D but I'm coaching the boys 1st game back for Winter season indoor soccer tonight and have a friend down from QLD. Also have to baby sit the kids cause the Mrs is out tonight. But you never Know, if their all keen I might try and drag the lot of us up there and make a night of it.:)

I cannae make it captain!

Besides, Martin sold all my camera gear

Jen - I got myself Prince tickets too but I'm afraid all I could afford was the nose bleed section - you've done well to get down the front. We'll be partying like it's 1999!

Have a great night guys

Looks like it will be a quiet night tonight but it also looks like it's clearing up a bit. :cloudy:
Having said that if it closes over again :rain: I will most likely be staying home as well but fingers crossed as i have some different setups I want to try out so pretty please stay clear for us:sunny: :prey2: :thanx:

B there around 2030 - blazing headlights. Looks like it's been clearing nicely. Last time I said that it was cloudy all night.

Had to knock off work early to pick up one of the kids from school sick. GGRRRR I was looking forward to my first club night. Hopefully nothing goes wrong for the next one. Hope you have a clear night.

Ok i got my butt into gear today and got my star trails done.
Below is the horrible result from the fogged up 35mm lens and stupidly set to iso800.
Long and short exposures all combined together (ampglow visible).

it still turned out OK Martin.

I like the finished product considering the amount of fog and condensed water droplets that were all over the camera lens
