Target: NGC3532 Wishing Well Cluster
Scope: Orion 80 ED Exposures: 10 x 330s total 55m
Guiding: Orion Starshoot Autoguider using PHD
Stacking: DSS 10darks, 5flats, no bias
Processing: PS CS3
Info: Situated in the Carina
This is a reprocess of an image data captured in 2009 using a Canon 350d DSLR
As can be seen the colours are not a defined as other images probably a result of the optics and camera used

I'm not normally one for open clusters, but this one is very sweet. :)
The background though seems blue to me though.
Nice one Trevor - real evidence you do favour clusters :D
I'm not an ED80 guy - were the stars fully focused do you think? Were you happy with the repro compared to your treatment of the data back in 2009? (bet you've learned a lot along the way!)

I am an ED80 guy
Lovely Cluster.
There is a very light shade of pinkish nebula throughout most of the image, but yeah, I also see a bit too much blue on the background sky.
Stars are a tiny bit oval, but overall a very nice image.
Now that I have finished pretending to be an imaging expert, I like it

Thanks for the feedback, processing has improved slightly I now get better colour balance with less bloating of the stars.
I try not to overstretch on the curves while retaining detail,
Ive toned back the blue a bit.
Focus was probably not as perfect as it could have been, but seeing probably played a part as the moon was waxing gibbous 65%, at the time taken.

The repro is an improvement Trevor. I think star clusters are great targets and this one is very nice.
