IC 2944 what shade of red do you see??

Hi,

This is an image Iv'e been working on mainly to work out how to calibrate my lap top screen.

I used my LCD TV alongside the laptop to see the difference.
On the TV it seems quite red, but the laptop shows to be more pink and blue tones.

So what do others see in this image??

Any feed back appreciated.

I have a Viewsonic 27" monitor ( model VX2753MH-LED. )

It looks a pink/red colour to me.
The background is not true black but some other colour.

Sounds like my lap top calibration is right, and don't use the TV.
I find processing to get good colours, I won't say correct!! time consuming.
That seems to be a big can of worms.
Using a an unmodified DSLR means a lot of mucking around to get the red hues.

Quite pink on my iPad with background not black and hints of red.
