I am after some 2" nebula or light pollution filters to try out with my first ever 2" eyepiece. Anything considered UHC, O-III, Skyglow - any brand fine/considered.
Please send PM if you have something

Have you thought of grabbing a new Orion Ultrablock filter? I have the 2" version, and also a 1 1/4" Lumicon UHC and have compared them side by side. The Orion shows remarkably similar results to the Lumicon - which is outstanding for the price. I think I paid under $100 for my 2" Ultrablock. No doubt prices continue to rise, but it should still be very well priced.

No - I haven't thought of this option - so the Orion Ultrablock seems similar to the Lumicon UHC - is this correct?

In my opinion, they're very similar yes. Here's an (old) report that mentions both in comparison:

I made a value judgement based on the info that was around at the time when I wanted a 2" UHC, bought the Orion and love it.
