Has anyone heard of any improvements to the Gemini software lately. The existing gemini system crashes far too often. My 8 dollar wall clock keeps far better time than the gemini clock. Tried to precision align on the south pole, and when closed down, the mount parks 45° instead of vertical and resetting results in gross errors in the go to settings. Attempts to realign the scope for the warm restart results in repeated runaway of the mount which nothing stops except turning off the power.

Time clock issues and erratic behaviour? Bingo. Change out your CMOS battery, the voltage is low. It's a bit bigger than your watch battery. The mount is probably losing your saved safety limits as well because of this. Have you accessed the mount settings via RJ45 / Ethernet cable yet? The battery voltage is displayed in there :)
