Seeing was very ordinary, in fact I'd call it fairly bad but once again AS!2 comes to the rescue. Boy AS!2 just continues to impress plus making imaging in ordinary seeing very worthwhile! Exciting times for me:D

Started off with 2X (the seeing scared me) but thought I'd try my normal scale (3X) as an afterthought. Both have been resized by 160%. A 4 framed animation coming at some stage soon:thumbsup:

Nice results John. The larger scale doesn't seem to be pushing it too far.

For sure, I'm super impressed with the results AS!2 can pull out of pretty ordinary data.

Thanks Ivan. Yeah I'm surprised actually. It's all hindsight of course, but the seeing looked too bad for 3X. Lesson learnt. Pull the trigger on bigger scale than you think ethical, because the programs are very very good at what they do now; nothing like the days of old.

WHOAH!

That is the most 3D planetary image I have ever seen Asi

Looks really spherical :eyepop:

Nice work mate

Thanks Ken, appreciate your comments!

Here's that GIF. Pity about the unstable seeing..

really good results Asi. yes, AS!2 seems to be very good at dealing with many seeing issues.

Reckon Emil has made quite a contribution to planetary astronomy with AS 2 and this result belies the conditions of the capture. Well done Asi.

There must have been some good data there - that looks very good!

Thanks Ray. A great program.

Thanks Trevor, & Emil is still contributing. He hasn't stopped trying to tweek AS!2, especially for us OSC camera operators & the topic of debayering.

Thanks Matt. Yes, certainly was some good moments in the data but it's mainly about how well AS!2 sorts the good from the bad these days, over Registax for instance.
