Advice/opinions on mounts please - epilogue

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to all those who offered their sound advice and opinions to this thread.

For those interested I have taken the plunge and ordered a PMX. Naturally this has rendered me penniless, literally.

I have also taken the liberty of downloading the manual from Software Bisque and am already going "What the hell does that mean?". I imagine therefore I will probably be posting quite a few questions and pleas for help over the coming weeks, even before the mount arrives.

It is an impressive piece of engineering. I much prefer the AP system for setup and use, software bisque are an, erm, interesting company to deal with re software, and there is a level of quirkiness to it, but there are quite a few owners here so you will have help at hand.

The software Bisque website and help forums are well staffed and provide tenacious advice so long as you give them time and keep following up.

So did you buy it locally (BinTel) or import direct?
