Hi Ed!

What do you mean "1 2 3 4" order?

When you can see them in their "order" from Jupiter = Io (I), Europa(II), Ganymede(III), Callisto(IV).

Correct vespine! The alignments look like 4 3 2 1 J or J 1 2 3 4

I just thought it would be visually interesting and really wanted to know how often the alignments occured.

Oooh, I wonder if Saturn's moons - - - - - - never mind.

Good luck on 17 Apr. Jupiter will be well placed (IIS bunch) for the entire window and you get the GRS too!
