For sale is an Obsession 15” f/4.5 scope (#154). It is in superb condition, and has been looked after with meticulous care. All components of this scope present very, very well (optics, coatings, materials, etc). Please see the images, and I more than welcome and encourage any inspection in person.
Specs:
Nova primary with enhanced coatings (96%)
Secondary coated by QSP with 98% reflectivity
Inclusions:
Shroud
UTA light shroud extender
fans
Secondary dew heater
Counterweights (see 2nd image)
Antares 9x50mm finder
Telrad
Setting circles encoders (8K) and hardware
Argo Navis (brand new, never used)
All powered by 7AH battery (sits in rocker box)
Also included is a full-size storage box (it can be seen behind the scope in the 1st image) for free (I will have no use for it).
If you have your own DSC computer, I can remove the Argo Navis from the sale. Asking price of $5,250, and am open to all reasonable offers. Telescope is in Berowra (northern Sydney), NSW. Please PM me if interested.
