Given it was such a clear night last night, I thought I'd get up this morning and take a few sunrise shots. Drove through "The Valley" and saw all the youngsters stumbling home and got booze-bussed on the way to Kangaroo Point Cliffs.
These are the first test run of my new 14-24mm lens, but unfortunately I am still waiting on my D800 (grumble, grumble, %^*$%&^$&*)& Nikon!)
Comments welcome,

Lovely cityscapes David. #2 is the standout for me.
Cheers

Thanks Dennis,
I wasn't sure if #2 would be criticized for having a magenta cast - landscape pro I did a course with extolled the virtues of the magenta wash! I did tone it down a bit before posting.
I was going to throw a general call out to the BIMBO crew to see if they'd be interested in a session this morning, but left it a bit late last night.

Great shots David. The 14-24 is a lovely lens. I am looking forward to using more of mine. I used it for a panorama on the weekend. Its so wide and very sharp.
If its any consolation I am waiting for my D800 as well. We should have them by the end of the month at the latest.
Greg.

Ta Greg,
I'm hoping for positive news this week. I really want mine ASAP, so I can get to know it before I go away to a workshop over the May Day long weekend.

Beautiful - #2 is my favourite (great composition). I don't mind the magenta cast at all since it looks fairly natural for early morning... but I'm not so sure about the Brisbane River looking so blue! :)

Thanks Dave - Agreed the water is too blue. It was the result of the tint slider being used to manipulate the white balance. Tried to make it more natural, but went for the "Blue Danube River" look in the end!
